The Safe Shopping Network today announced that it has expanded its web site test capabilities through partnership agreements with test software developers Compuware, Qualys and ExclamationSoft.

"The powerful web site test software provided by these companies will greatly enhance the depth and breadth of our current web site testing capabilities", said Dr. John Ryan, the company's test technology senior VP. The Safe Shopping Network will use Compuware's (compuware.com) PointForward package to test web site reliability and performance characteristics. Qualys's (Qualys.com) QualGuard software will be used to test over 1600 security vulnerabilities. The Safe Shopping Network will also monitor the "up time" or availability of web sites using ExclamationSoft's (exclamationsoft.com) WebWatchBot software.

Coupled with the company's current testing capabilities which include tests for shopping cart safety, privacy policies, and site usability, the Safe Shopping Network is now capable of providing a full test suite designed to score and deliver test results to over two million monthly visiting consumers.
